Message:       The new version of LODS (2.12) is now available from the LODS home page. This is a very minor revision which only affects the following: 1) the default value of the injuries_yn field on the turtle tab is now NULL (instead of N) 2) users can enter an 'S' (Scan Count) on the Protected Species Interaction Log. Let Karen, Jan, Eric or Tom know if you have any difficulties with the new version. Thank you.

Message:       Topic: PSI readback problem. The current display order for PSI records is by Event Number rather than by Page/Line. It will be okay in the new version. Because this makes readback difficult, debriefers may use the Pre Go-Live version of LODS for readback and data correction. Please contact Eric Forney for details on using the Pre Go-Live application.

Message:       We have resolved the intermittent issue of form versions not getting set. The problem occurred when a default form version was not properly set and then the user generating the new trip just took the defaults when the Forms Version Window popped-up. Please make sure to know the correct form versions the Observer used on the trip, before generating a new trip, and then check that each form version in the list is selected properly before clicking the Set Vers button. If problems arise, please contact Karen on her cell 808-256-7483.

Message:       LODS v 1.02 has just been loaded. I fixed an issue with the longitude items. Also, TRIP STATUS can now be marked as COMPLETE when a debriefer has released an observer from data entry. A debriefer may also return the trip status to INITIAL if necessary. Please let me know if you have any questions or problems. Thanks, Karen
