Data includes vessel speed; whether a shooter was used; target species code; ids for bait used and hook type; hook size; number of hooks set and hauled; hooks per float; number of floats; ids for type, length, diameter, color, strength and composition of the mainline, branchline, floatline and leader; ids for light device info, if used; whether the line broke; the id for haulback direction; and whether interaction with protected species occurred during the set or the haul.

SHARK_LEGACY DATA NEWOBS SHARK DESC_SHARK Legacy table containing shark life history data (gender,(measurements, comments) from trips LL0001 through LL1064 and LL1068. Measurement data for current trips is stored in the CATCH table.
SPECIMEN DATA NEWOBS SPECIMEN DESC_SPECIMEN Table containing data about specimens collected from a caught animal (fish, bird, turtle or mammal).
